Thanks for providing the buckets

Redmond's is the only salt I use for daily cooking as well as fermenting and sourdough making! I got 10 lbs with the bucket a couple of years ago and was running low. I understand the difficulty of shipping the bucket full, but I'm SOOOO happy you have provided us with the option to purchase the salt and bucket combo. I don't ever want to be without my REAL SALT!

The BEST Salt on Earth!

We tried this the first time, just buying the small shaker, we soon ordered the 10 pound bulk of the salt, with a bucket for storage. My husband and I love this salt, we do not use any other seasonings! I am Cajun and we use a lot of spices, not anymore, only Remond salt!

As the earth shifted and ocean waters retreated beneath the surface, the Real Salt deposit was formed into a massive, underground mountain of crystalized salt protected from erosion by a layer of volcanic ash.

Real Salt doesn't expire, because natural salt without additives doesn't ever go bad. Food only spoils when fungal, bacterial, yeast, or other microbial growth takes place. All of these require water. Salt doesn’t contain water, so it doesn’t support microbial growth, meaning it won’t spoil. In fact, salt is actually used as a preservative for other foods, like meat.
